Who is up for some hot drone on drone action? Video provided by a Ukrainian reconnaissance drone shows a Russian drone unit, complete with UAV and control van. The Russians have again chosen a white van, which is less than ideal, and poorly concealed said van in a thinning tree line. Hindsight being 20/20, camouflage netting might have been a good choice. A Russian soldier launches a drone, and almost immediately the control van is struck by a loitering munition. This might signal a new priority in targeting for Ukrainian shaping operations. Within the past thirty-six hours the Ukrainian military stuck a facility in Donetsk which housed a training program for drone operators. Ukrainian fires and drone attacks targeting artillery systems have been well documented, and by expanding their efforts to drones and drone training facilities, the Ukrainians are further degrading the Russian ability to deliver accurate and effective fires.
