Australian defense firm Skyborne Technologies has unveiled their latest creation, a three rotor drone that is built around a rotary grenade launcher.
According to reports, the company has been granted permission by the Australian aviation authority to continue testing and developing the "Cerberus GLH" airborne weapon system. The drone uses a rotary style magazine that can hold five 40mm grenades. The weapon system aims the grenades using a built-in laser designator.
The system is man-portable, has a flight time of 30 minutes, and can also be used for realtime reconnaissance missions.
