An unmanned weaponized drone from Turkey obtains positive identification on Syrian Arab Army troops taking cover in a garage-type building and lands a bomb directly on top of them.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense has released footage of a drone strike that is allegedly against members of the Syrian Arab Army. Our sources however are giving us mixed reports, with some individuals saying this is older footage of a drone strike in the city of Afrin against the Kurds. For now, we will trust the word of the Turkish MoD, who are still actively in an open conflict with the Syrian Arab Army inside of one of the last resistance strongholds in Syria.

The primary reason why I'm trusting the Turkish MoD on this video is because Turkey is doing everything in their power to ensure that the city of Idlib does not fall to the Syrian Regime. Reason being, the fall of Idlib would send another 1 to 1.5 million refugees directly towards the Turkish border, which Turkey is trying to avoid at all costs. The best way for them to avoid a humanitarian crisis at that scale is by supporting the resistance groups they have already propped up over the past few years.

Second, Turkey has been releasing a lot of strike footage in that region over the past few weeks. It would make sense that this footage is part of that same package of drone and direct artillery strikes. If we find evidence however that this footage was indeed recorded in Afrin and the strike was against Kurds, we will change the title and correct the article. At this point, the only way we can verify this video is by trusting the Turkish Ministry of Defense.

As always, we do our best to independently verify the footage we are bringing to the table for you all. More and more, combat footage is being used as a tool to wage war on an information level. We do everything in our power to make sure the information we are relaying is accurate, but we're a small team. As a community however, we are massive.
