Debris from Crashed Russian Plane

This footage purportedly shows a debris field from a Russian IL-76 military cargo plane which crashed near Belgorod. The Russian government immediately issued statements blaming Ukraine and stating that sixty-five Ukrainian prisoners of war had been on board. The Ukrainian government has denied that claim, and instead stated that the aircraft carried missiles for the S300 anti-aircraft systems. Some Ukrainian sources also claim that individuals on the list of alleged Ukrainian POWs had already been exchanged. The source for this video observed that this and other footage of the crash site shows little in the way of bodies. Other footage purportedly shows damage from an anti-aircraft missile. For now, the truth of the matter remains opaque as each side claims accuses the other of deception.
