Impressive footage coming out of Cherkasy this evening captures what appears to be a rocket impacting with either a light pole or a power line.
There's a couple of unknowns in this footage. Right out of the gate, let's get the obvious out of the way. We weren't able to ask the guy who fired this rocket which side of the war he was fighting on. So, no, we don't know if it was a Ukrainian rocket or a Russian rocket. We also don't know the exact make, model, or VIN number for the rocket either. Hell, to be honest, from this footage I can't even tell if we're looking at a rocket. All we truly see is something burn through the dashcam for a few seconds before exploding when it impacts with what's either a light pole or a power line. Go ahead and miss me with your corrections. We're a blog that covers combat footage and posts video content.
Here's what we do know. This is a civilian vehicle near Cherkasy. The driver was recording with a dashcam, and no I don't know the brand of car or dashcam he was using. It doesn't appear that anyone was injured in the ensuing explosion either, but it does make for a pretty damn cool video.
