Ukrainian missiles struck multiple bridges in southern Ukraine in an attempt to disrupt Russian resupply and reinforcements amid the ongoing counteroffensive.
The damage shown in the video is to the Chongar bridge, a critical supply route Russia uses to move troops and equipment out of the Crimean Peninsula into the Ukrainian mainland. Russia claims four Storm Shadow missiles targeted the ridge which shows heavy damage to the surface as well as the support trusses.
The Russians will likely be able to bypass the bridge with pontoons while it is being repaired, but the strikes will surely slow the resupply process. Ukraine understands that their successes on the counteroffensive fronts are closely tied to the Russians' ability to keep their ranks filled and fully armed.
