Footage released by members of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, better known as HTS, shows the early stages of a raid against Syrian Arab Army positions. It's unclear exactly where this footage was filmed, but the rumor mill is churning and it is believed that this may have been recorded in Latakia.
For those of you that are out of the loop on the Syrian Civil War, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham is a Sunni Islamist fundamentalist group that evolved from Jabhat al-Nusra, better known as the Nusra Front. The group has ties to al-Qaeda, with HTS being commonly known as the arm of AQ in Syria.
