This exclusive Go-Pro footage was submitted directly to Funker530 by a member of our viewership and community. He and one of his squadmates in the International Legion are shown walking to their pickup point, during which they “took some accurate artillery/mortar fire.” Some of this is shown here, but the cameraman reports that shortly hereafter, his camera was damaged.
The cameraman, who hails from Ireland, and his squadmate shown are part of the Ukrainian International Legion’s 1st Battalion Bravo Company. They were tasked with supporting a Ukrainian assault which was canceled, because one of the Legionnaires stepped on a landmine. Footage of his evacuation the night before this shelling can be found here.
