A drone thermal camera recorded the effects of US-supplied dual-purpose improved conventional munition (DPICM) cluster munitions fired onto Russian positions.
While the effects appear underwhelming, especially given the hype and controversy leading up to the cluster munition delivery, the deadly steel shrapnel that emits in all directions from each bomblet cannot be seen on the footage. Each submunition has a kill radius of about 10 meters from the blast site.
