It's always footage from the Chechens that leave me drawing the question of whether or not it's staged. Over the past several months, dozens of fake videos and images have been debunked by the wonderful people on the internet.
Again, we like to put out the best of the best to show the realistic aspects of war. In the footage provided, we can see Russian allied, Chechen forces, laying down suppressive fire for the removal of casualties on the battlefield. Now, I've said it a few times in previous videos, there is never a doubt in my mind that "war can't be fun", because some of my fondest military experiences have a splash of war in them. However, between all the staged propaganda we have seen, not only from the Chechens, but from Ukrainian and Russian forces, I find it difficult to believe these guys are having this grand of a time under the circumstances of this brutal conflict.
Our machine-gunner here, going cyclic why staring into the camera and sticking his tongue out, doesn't settle as a "realistic" way to lay suppressive fire. Without blasting my thoughts into yours, I'd like to hear what you guys think. Staged, or not staged? Toss a few Band-Aids on a guy, carry him around while Barry the Barbarian goes cyclic?
Let me know in the comments below. Always like to see everyone else' take on questionable footage like this.
