A second video providing additional perspective of the Ukrainian long-range drone attack on Russian naval facilities in the Caspian Sea. The target was Kaspiysk, in the Russian Republic of Dagestan, at least 1500 kilometers from the front lines in Ukraine. The drone was purportedly a small plane rigged for remote control, and in the footage it looks similar to a small Cessna. The drone can be seen flying over a Russian warship before diving for the shore facilities. Russian sources claimed a drone was shot down over the Caspian Sea, while Ukrainian sources claim two Russian missile ships were damaged. The use of aerial and naval drones, as well as mines and cruise missiles, have largely neutralized Russian naval power in the Black Sea. The development of long-range drones is allowing the Ukrainian military to strike strategic targets deep within Russian.
