British Light Howitzer Thumps Russians In Kursk

This footage, provided by the Ukrainian military, shows troops from the 95th Air Assault Brigade using what appears to be a British-donated L119 light howitzer to strike Russian targets in Kursk. The L119, designated M119 in the United States, is a 105-millimeter howitzer capable of reaching out 17.5 km (roughly 11 miles) with non-rocket-assisted ammo. When using rounds assisted by a rocket booster, the range increases to 19.5 kilometers (just over 12 miles). The L119 also uses a wide variety of ammunition types including HE, smoke, illumination and extended-range full bore (ERFB) rounds. With so many options, a L119/M119 crew can makes its twelve-mile range very interesting indeed for opposing forces.
