Footage shows two Ukrainian loiter munition strikes against Russian infantry fighting vehicles in the vicinity of Maryinka, the contested southwest suburb of Donetsk city.
The first strike targets a BTR, and Russian troops can be seen exposed, riding on top at the time of the blast. The second strike hits a BMP-2.
The effectiveness of the strikes cannot be determined from the video, but these improvised bomb drones have been shown to carry 73mm high explosive projectile rounds designed for the SPG-9 recoilless gun, which certainly has the capability to seriously damage these types of light armored vehicles.
