Drone footage shows a squad of Russian troops riding on a BMP infantry fighting vehicle as they make their way across the snow-covered Ukrainian battlefield. They stop as they come to a tree line choke point, an effective but predictable location for landmines to be present.
Their quick visual scan of the area detects no mines and as they attempt to press forward, a explosive-laden FPV loitering munition, also known as a kamikaze drone, rapidly approaches from the rear and detonates on top of the vehicle, likely inflicting casualties among the riders.
