The State Border Service of Azerbaijan released a montage of combat footage from the 2nd Karabakh War, backed with a high-intensity metal track highlights their involvement in the conflict.
The 2020 war in the Nagorno-Karabakh region between Azerbaijan and Armenia began one year ago and lasted 44 days. The conflict ignited when Azerbaijan entered into territory that is politically theirs, but was controlled by ethnic Armenian local governments. Azerbaijan's years of investments into advanced military hardware, including various unmanned aerial systems resulted in a short and brutal decisive victory over the Armenian military, which relied heavily on near-obsolete Cold War-era equipment and weaponry. While the war is officially over, flare-ups in fighting and territory disputes between the two parties is ongoing.
