Aussies Defend Trench In Zaporizhzhia, Trash Talking All The Way

This quick clip shows a group of Australian volunteers defending a trench near Zaporizhzhia, in Southeast Ukraine. The video, though, is less important in this case than the audio. Fighting so close that Russian voices can be heard, the Australians prove that they have no time for ambiguity- "I'm gonna skin you!" As they defend the trench, the fighters, by turns, express disappointment in a uniquely Australian fashion at missing shots on a drone, and taunt the enemy. "Missed us!" Legendary for not only embracing the suck but making fun of it nearly the entire time, the Australian military ethos and espirit de corps is built on irrepressibility and making the best of a bad situation, most famously typified by the disastrous Gallipoli campaign of the First World War.
