Fighters if the Sudanese Rapid Support Force (RSF) destroy a vehicle belonging to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) with a 9M-133 Kornet-E anti-tank guided missile (ATGM). First produced by Russia in 1998, the Kornet is a highly capable system intended for use against main battle tanks (MBTs). The two factions previously collaborated to oust the regime of President Omar al-Bashir in 2019, but in April 2023 a power sharing agreement collapsed, sending the two armed camps into civil war.
