A video reportedly filmed during riots in Santiago, Chile in 2019 shows an armored police vehicle being pelted by several molotov cocktails resulting in a stunning sight.
Molotov cocktails, also called petrol bombs or fire bombs, are improvised throwable incendiary devices fashioned from a glass bottle containing highly flammable liquids which use a propellent-soaked cloth in the cap or stopper as an ignition source.
The molotov's ease of construction from easily sourced materials makes them an extremely popular choice. The weapon is useful for setting structures and vehicles ablaze, distraction, and crowd dispersal.
