Armed Suspect Hides In Hotel Clothing Dryer

Phoenix Police responded to a July 15, 2022 call of a banned person pointing a gun at a security guard on a hotel property and hitting another person with his pistol.
Responding officers were given the suspect's location by security guards watching the security CCTV cameras. He was pinpointed to a stairwell. At one point the suspect pointed his pistol toward the officers and a policeman responded by firing his weapon, but not hitting the suspect. The suspect then fled from the stairwell into a laundry room where he attempted to hide in a clothing dryer, but was apprehended.
