On March 23, 2021, Police Officers of the Olympic Community Police Station, Los Angles CA, were in a stand off with a civilian who approached the station armed (Timestamp 3:30).

As an Officer goes to exit the building, Nakiea Brown (35 year-old male) was standing less than ten feet away from the Police Station front doors, armed with a handgun. Without hesitation, the first officer draws his firearm, followed by at least six other officers.

After the immediate encounter at the door, the first police officer backs away from the glass window and gains a better position. You can hear officers communicating in the background and over the radio, they are maneuvering into position and to check their cross fire.

As the body camera's change, a patrolling police cruiser rolls up to the scene within two minutes of initial contact and gains a different vantage point of Brown who is still armed outside the station. The officers who are outside begin telling Brown to disarm himself and they will provide him with help.

Brown replied multiple times "Just shoot me", "You're gonna shoot me anyways" and "I can't get them out of my head".

Roughly three minutes has elapsed, when one officer outside takes a single shot from a shotgun, putting the suspect down. Brown was immediately transferred to a local hospital where he underwent surgery. Last known, Brown was in critical condition.

After further investigation, the firearm Brown had on him was fake. It seemed to have been a pellet gun or BB gun. Along with the fake gun, notes were found in the pockets of Brown stating:

"The FBI will not arrest me. The police will not arrest me. The voices of other people in my head will not stop"

"They use mind control to drive people crazy in order to make them go on killing spree. They told me that they will continue to hate Black people. They celebrate when they get someone to kill someone."

"They made me into a pedophile. I'm committing suicide because no one will or can help me. Mind control!"
