On May 3, 2021 Deputies from the Flagler County Sheriffs Office clocked a silver sedan at speeds exceeding 90 miles per hour. Before pulling their car to the shoulder, the Deputy noticed small baggies being thrown out of the passenger side window.

When approaching the vehicle, the passenger identified himself as "Mike Johnson". The suspect had no ID, no social security number, no middle name, and had just gotten out of prison in Massachusetts. After obtaining information from the driver and suspect, later identified as Serone Bell, the Deputy heads back to conduct a background check on the two individuals.

Moments after the Deputy returned to his motorcycle, he noticed the driver exiting his vehicle with his hands raised. The Deputy asked him what he was doing, when the driver replied "He's got a gun sir". Bell who had transitioned to the driver seat put the pedal the floor and began fleeing the traffic stop.

After twenty-three minutes, the high speed chase ended in a Cracker Barrel parking lot, when Bell crashed his vehicle into two parked cars. In a further attempt the flee, Bell exited his vehicle where a short foot chase began. Bell did not make it far before being hit by a taser which finally concluded this chase.

Once Bell was taken into custody, a further investigation went underway when Deputies found an AR-15 style rifle along with a loaded 60 round magazine in the car. Lucky for all involved, Bell did not resort to utilizing this firearm against law enforcement. Later, Deputies returned to the initial scene of the car jacking and located multiple bags of drugs which contents consisted of 19.72 grams of Fentanyl, 9.25 grams of cocaine, and 11 grams of an unknown substance.

Serone Bell was charged with Carjacking with a Firearm, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Giving a False Name to Law Enforcement, Marijuana Possession, Cocaine Possession, Fentanyl Trafficking 14 to 20 grams, Tampering with Evidence, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Aggravated Fleeing with Disregard of Safety to Persons or Property.

Needless to say, Bell will be adding more time to the four-years sentence he just served in Mass. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
