Footage recorded by an indoor security camera system captures the moment a Russian shell impacts with a Ukrainian apartment in the city of Odessa.
Indoor security camera systems are not all that uncommon these days. Many people have them for a myriad of reasons. It helps them watch their pets and their children while they're at work and provides them with an essential piece of mind while they're away from home. In some circumstances these systems have captured full-blown home invasions on camera, but today we're seeing them capture something entirely different.
This is the second such time (that we know of) that a home security camera system has captured a Russian shell landing inside of someone's apartment. Imagine you're a refugee that left home, and one day your home security system app on your mobile phone gives you an activity alert. You click to check on it, and watch your entire apartment exploding.
At this time, it's unclear if there were any casualties from this specific explosion.
