Al Qaeda in Maghreb Launch Attack on Malian Military Base in Timbuktu

This compilation of footage from Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) includes drone video of a Suicide/Vehicle-Borne IED (SVBIED) attack on the gate on the base at Niafunké, Timbuktu. It then transitions to combatants on foot, although given the distance it is unclear whether these are Malian soldiers in retreat or AQIM pressing the attack.
