Six Russian cruise missiles rocked the western Lviv region of Ukraine on Aug. 15, 2023, injuring at least 15 people, some of which were children, and damaging dozens of buildings.
Aftermath footage from the city of Lviv, which only sits 40 miles from the Polish, border shows apartment buildings rubbled in residential neighborhoods. Lviv is a hub for NGO charity workers as well as refugees fleeing the fighting in the east and south of Ukraine.
